$12.00 for a chai tea and double slice of cake seems a bit pretentious in these cheap is chic times. I’ll stick with Dunkin Donuts. Hey Brother Grimm, my favorite tea of all time was the TWATea they used to serve on Trans World Airlines.

    Downtown Joe
Maybe I missed the “fishy” joke but I live downtown and glad Savvy is open again. The vibe and go-go juice are def better than before and it’s the only place downtown to sit, sip, and people watch.

Downtown Joe, you need to hang at Town Topic if you wanna people watch.

I’m with you DT Joe! I work by Savvy and soooo glad they are open again. The new guys are fun and the Sugar Daddy is my FAV!

Town Topic with Liz and the gang. Ahhh….now that is KC.

Hearne u ought to do a story about KC institutions. Town Topic, Dagwoods, Strouds, Hayes, Dixon’s chili. Here is one I don’t get. The home of the frisbee size pancakes. Weatherbys. Always disappointing.
