Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel fumbles and Chargers defensive back Paul Oliver is in the right place to snag it out of the air and go 40 yards for a first-half touchdown.

Didn’t most of these guys play on winning teams in college? Shouldn’t they already have at least some idea how to win? I realize that the NFL is a world apart from college, but Glen Dorsey, Tyson Jackson and Derrick Johnson, among others, all competed for national championships? Did they once know how to win and forgot?

Even after last week I wanted Todd Haley fired and I still do. Clark, you were in town this weekend, did you have time to deliver some ultimatums during your brief visit?

Gavin, why do you want the Chiefs to be ran like Al davis runs the Raiders? Firing head coaches left and right doesn’t fix the problem at hand- drafting and signing free agent TALENT does, and that takes time. Your solution is “knee-jerk” at best, and does NOTHING to solve the problem.

ya know??… for all the goofballs around here wanting to see Mangino fired for being abrasive…WHY NOT FIRE THIS IDIOT NONcoach of the chefs?

If anyone should be fired it should be haleygirl…

I wonder…will rick still be on the “wait and see” wagon?? , or has rick come to his senses and now realizes that this idiot needs to be fired,,and fired 8 weeks ago!!

The Chiefs are who we think they are.

Elin may have gone ghetto on Tiger but it appears he has gone Hugh Grant on her…allegedly. As Bill Mahr said. Show me the best looking gal in the world and I’ll show you a guy whose tired on banging her. If Tiger is guilty of playing with the voodoo punani he’ll do some “splainin” on Oprah and “Siddy Minutes” and all will be forgiven.

I agree that Haley has to go. By many accounts he was not the Chiefs first choice. His crime, besides immaturity and a lack of experience is a failure to show any consistent week to week progress. The Steelers win was a fluke and probably had more to do with a curse on Big Ben by the chick he supposedly raped in Reno than an improved Chiefs team. Matt Cassel still can’t justify his salary. Even with the cast of characters he has to work with he has failed to show any element of poise, leadership and calm under fire. It’s broke, FIX IT.

Chiefs? who are they? They suck. So to forget about them i went to arrowhead saturdya.
Despite the score…there were 2 teams who were
driven to win. That’s all you can say.
The game was incredible..like being on a roller
coaster. the fans were fun (some a little too
drunk)…the game was fantastic…and when it
was over you knew both teams were in it to win.
Every play showed how players on b oth teams
    wanted to win.
Even thought my team won…I can say nothing bad
about the jayhawks. They played a magnificent
game but this year just wasn’t meant to be.
I have not seen this intensity in the chiefs.
They are playing with half a heart. There’s
no emotion in most of their games…and cassell is not a great qb. He could have the best
    receivers…the best o line..and still be
    mediocre at best.
HOpefully clark the rat has a lot of patience.
He needs it. This piece of sh*t owner along with his worthless dad have let this franchise sink to the bottom. I’m now convinced that this string of bad years could stretch out for a long
long time. The chiefs need to cut their losses at the end of the season..btring in charlie
    weiss as offensive coordinator…take foul
mouthed haley off the field and shove him into
    one of the lockers.
Great game KU. Us tigers had our day..but there is nothing to be embarrased about the way you played on saturday..good luck to reesing/
brisco/kerry/ for 3 great exciting games at
    arrowhead.
Mangino…leave on your own. Get you life together. Your personal problems need attention now. You can always come back to coaching.
Your health and your family are now more
    important.
and remember MU 41 KU 39….
    MU REIGNS IN 2009!

OH..FORGOT ABOUT TIGER. The black guy has money
..he is the most popular athlete in the world..
has a beautiful wife and an incredible life.
But he’s like the rest of the black men I know.
All they care about is p*ssy.
Now don’t get me wrong..i love it to…but for
the blacks I know its 24/7 p*ssy…it must be
    in their genetic makeup.
So when tiger got caught it didnt surprise me.
How many of us could reject the temptation of
the most beuatiful women in the worl wanting
to screw us. It would be just too much to
resist. So he fell to temptation and now he’s
all over the papers. The mistress already
lawyered up and got an agent.
Tiger. Its gonna cost you big bucks..but
you can buy your way out of it bro.

Tiger got tired of playing the same hole. He had trouble driving, and couldn’t make up for it with his putter. Gone ghetto? She was half way there when she married him.
Half black, half Asian. Every December 7th, he gets drunk and bombs Pearl Bailey.

Well the real Chiefs showed up…again…Nick and Roger, Please, with the excuses…I know we are all trying to be patient with this coaching staff, but wow…have our players no pride at all..Vegas was not impressed with the Chiefs win over the Steelers, making the Chiefs the biggest dog of the day at l3 1/2 points..the Chiefs proved them correct getting beat by 29 and quick..at this rate..next year does not look good either..players line up wrong..offsides..motion…fumbles…on and on…coaching has to take full responsibility for that…losing is one thing…looking this bad at the end of the year..thats another. Thank God for Chris Chambers or we are l and l0.

look for some changes…these guys have had
11 months to put something together…and this
is the best they can do.
Old washedup players off the street..wtf are
    these guys thinking.
giving away all pro players…bringing in
    some pure crap players.
yes..it will be a long long time before vthis
    team is good.
Maybe tigers old lady can come in and coach.
I guarantee those players would moves their
fat asses if that bitch comes after them with
a golf club. Even nighswanger would make some
decent snaps if he knew that blonde bitch would
hack him with a dri ver if he missed any
    more snaps.
go ku b-ball…its all we have left…..til
    next college footbal season…

San Diego went to Denver and led by 23 with minutes remaining.
But all is lost because we go to San Diego and lose by 29???

    I don’t think so.

Still won three of the last six, with three home games coming up…

Bluestrike in 1996 did you also think Carl and Marty would with in time take KC to the Super Bowl?

What you see with Scott/Todd now is what your going to get for years to come. They suck now, they will suck three years from now.

In 1989 Carl and Marty put up good regular season teams that bombed in the playoffs. In 1997 when Marty left, they still put up good regular season teams that bombed in the playoffs.

2what you see now, is what you get later.

Unless you do something about ti now.

    Paul,

Who said anything about “firing head coaches left and right?” I’ll give you a hint: It wasn’t me. I’m not saying run them like Al Davis runs the Raiders. I’m saying Haley was a mistake to begin with and I don’t think they’ll get any better under him. There was one impressive, but still fluky, game last week and that’s it. But if Haley is the wrong guy, does it make sense to stay with him if he is still the wrong guy? Of course it doesn’t. No one is saying “let’s impatiently hire a new coach twice every season and see what he can do.” But if a mistake was made in hiring Haley, dump him.

And if Haley is still the right guy then someone, anyone, please explain to me why he is. So far no one has been able to show that the team is getting better, playing harder or even playing smarter. They’re making as many or more stupid mistakes, the play calling is no better and pretty much everything about the Chiefs sucks.

It seems to me that if Haley could win two games with 22 guys off the street, he ought to be able to win four or five with a squad he helped to assemble, doesn’t it? Anyone want to bet a mortgage payment they’ll win another game this year? Didn’t think so.

Again, Paul, no one is saying run the team like the Raiders. But I had heard they were going to be run like the Patriots and that doesn’t seem to be happening either.

Jeeeezz-Yes I’m still giving Haley and Scott a FAIR chance to prove their abilities. They have already proven they are better then last year. And we have several games to go. They have made some good decisions and some poor ones. But they are an improvement over Herman. So far all my predictions have been correct. Is Todd doing some on the job training? YES. But I’m ok with that.

Gavin says “If Todd is the right guy please someone, anyone, please explain to me why he is? Ok Gavin. Last year they won 2 games. This year they have won 3 with several more games to go. This year we beat the Super Bowl Champs and that was without Larry Johnson, Tony Gonzalez, and Dwayne Bowe. Last year we couldn’t win more then two games with those guys. We basically won with 20 guys off the street this year. We are a better team.

You are also wrong Gavin. They will win another game this year. What is your address as I may just take the house instead of just a payment?

Rick is right, maybe one more, we have Cleveland coming in, they stink so maybe…but Rick its not a pretty picture is it? I will wait as we must til next year, met Todd(always about you Glazer) liked him, wish him the best…but if we don’t see it next year, a MAJOR improvement, than I have to agree with everyone else this ain’t workin either. But lets see next year, this year was an F plus(the plus for Charles and Chambers, thats it offense is D minus and Defense an F).
