Tony: Cops At Casa Funkhouser Over Cauthen Kerfuffle Just In Case

By now, everybody who watching the news knows that Katie Horner is holding up rather nicely over the years, and I think we all wonder what she looks like naked.

Also, The City Council and Mayor Funkhouser essentially voted to fire City Manager Wayne Cauthen and replace him with one of the other bureaucrats responsible for $60 million worth of debt.

But there’s actually something interesting about this story that will appear first on KC Confidential!!!

Neighbors report that multiple cop cars showed up the Brookside neighborhood of our esteemed Mayor and seemed to be watching out for any negative reaction.

Sources with a bit more insight into the situation know that Mayor Funkhouser had this coup against the City Manager planned for a while and this bit of protection seems to be part of the plan.

What’s more interesting is that this move only further proves the Mayor is out of touch because most African-Americans in Kansas City have grown frustrated with Cauthen as well. Gwen Grant of Kansas City’s Urban League was calling for his head over the Summer and this move is only a surprise to Johnson County reporters and other naive people who think that things really change at City Hall.

So, at the end of the day one bureaucrat will be replaced by another Kansas City is still in the midst of a back breaking recession and somehow I’m certain that the musical chair act at City Hall isn’t going to make things better.

If you want to see Katie Horner naked then you must be a missing brother to the Lexington MO family. UGH. You like horses to Tony.

In all fairness this is a strong article from Tony. I agree that this won’t change a thing. When I was in Westport, Nigro and I met with Wayne on several occasions….He stuck me as confused, not sure what was going on…not too caring about things…and not the sharpest guy I ever met…but you could say that about most of that group…I think the first thing they should have done as a group was travel to other cities and see how they, at that time, overcame similar problems…looked at Cordish developements in other cities as well…I always felt our city hall team was just not up on much of anything other than their own meetings and inside fights…no business leader amongst them, thus the nightmare continues in KC,Mo…and will..no end in sight…

Boycott him-Sorry didn’t get the memo. Read him so rarely I was unaware of the boycott. Please, Please, I don’t want to end up in the grass at Arrowhead like what happened to Hoffa. WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN.

Which reminds me. Craig you never have said. Do you know who Michael Franzese is?

Hearne and company really dropped the ball on this one. You need to have something that makes a name for yourself. I understand hard news is really not his background. But getting several talking heads to share opinions and thoughts about the turmoil at City Hall would of been interesting. Instead we learn (Which was interesting) that the Funk was concerned about backlash. Good aspect but it could of been so much more. It would be cool if the web site was quoted for breaking some stories.

Enjoyed your insight Craig. And concur about some of the mistakes made.

Is this where I sign up to boycott the Tony awards?

    say what?
oh boycott Tony. Sorry I was confused. I wasn’t aware we were all in 4th grade. Maybe folks should just not read something or someone if they find them offensive or repugnant. Or, a boycott is awesome too, let me toss on my green peace shirt and break out the dayglo poster board.

I boycott all blogs while reading them daily.

All the boycott talk does is make people realize that Tony gets readers worked up.

oh oh, I am so worked up ,,
oh oh, I am so infuriated, oh oh..

    yawn….
Having a true opinion is one thing,
but writing drivel with the only objective to get people worked up?? lol, becomes very predictable very quickly. tonya is now boring, yawn.

We are aware hearne (as well as Jerry Springer) thinks there is a need for people to yell on the internet, and we are aware that hearne thinks it is a good idea to have a dufus like tonya write things so we can yell … but it has become boring.

yawn,,,the time has come and gone for tonya, she should move on along, nothing to read here,,as usual.

    bye bye tonya.

I think the brothers will take a pass on a drive by at the house. They’ll probably let some time pass, kidnap Gloria when she’s out one day. Gang bang her, show her loving it and put it on YouTube.
