Watching these NCAA games…it looks like ball control and clock management are back in style. I like the way NE and Okie St. attack on Offense.
KU can’t or won’t pick up first downs on the ground. So they really have no element of surprise, unlike the last couple of years teams are well prepared for Reesing and his talents.

I picked mizzou as a winner against k state
and caught hell. Truth is this mu team is really
good but like the tradion at columbia there’s
no easy team or opponent and a big win one
week could mean disaster the next.
As for KU…their light is out. They lose to
texas and the mu game means nothing.
KU is history…as in past history. Mangino
rode the wave and shold have left for greener
pastures. INstead he stuck with ku and after
the football-basketball team fights we saw the
truth in lawrence. Noone really caresa out
football and now that the glory days are over
its back to waiting for basektball season
in september and october.
I now predict that KU will NOT win the national championship. They have the talent and the
coach but our area is jinxed when it comes to
sports. Nothing ouwld be better than a KU
championship but right now all the teams
are for some reason jinxed by something.

The great Bill Snyder turnaround is nothing but a tremendous fraud. He will likely end the season 1 game better than Prince ended last year. He flipped the KU and CU games to wins when they moved to Manhattan and flipped the ULaLa game to a loss. Not exactly the stuff of legends.
Of course, it is still “conventional wisdom” that Mangino is superior to Pinkel despite the fact that in 8 seasons he has never finished ranked higher in the Big 12.

Forget 2010. By 2011 Mangino, Pinkel and Snyder will all be GONE! Snyder will “retire and consult”. Pinkel will get whacked and Mangino will either be dead from a heart attack or coaching in the BIG TEN.

This Mangino stuff is really whack. After the nuns were done beating me I routinely got slapped around and lead around by the facemask at football practice in GRADE SCHOOL. Hell, in highschool I had a coach stand on the side of my helmet to get my ear closer to the ground so I could hear blood make the grass grow in Oklahoma. Unless the BIG MAN is sodomizing somebody I don’t get it.
