    Robert Butler in the STAR review said the film was animated. You call it performance capture technology. I don’t know the difference between the two but don’t think Butler is correct.

    There’s some animation in the movie but the actors are for real. Performance capture just makes their faces look like madam Palosi.

    Polar Express was a huge disappointment. Jim Carey playing all these parts? Sounds like an ego project.
