    Greg,

Do you know if there are any issues surrounding the leave of Chris & Cowboy? Personally, I think they’re both knuckleheaded, sexist assclowns and I don’t miss them a bit, but if there is any dirt on them, can you please start shoveling?

    Dig,
No dirt here that I know of. Chris is on a scheduled vacation and Cowboy had a personal emergency that forced the lineup change this week.

BEFORE IT HAPPENS. You know someone is going to write in and complain about the spelling of Duane’s name. It’s Dwayne.

I once knew a very successful basketball coach. He won games by huge scores even after putting in the second team. I asked him why he just didn’t tell the team to back off. His response was “I worry if I train them to back off in lopsided games a close game where they are only up by say eight they will back off.” “So I want them giving it their all no matter what the score.”

For me the same applies to the Bowe situation. I want him fighting for those extra yards and to score a TD. I want him to react. Not stop and think, is this a situation where I give a 100% or do i just jog, go to a knee, etc. Score a TD and fight for yards I say.

How stupid does Clark Hunt think we are? His comments in The Star were laughable. I guess just like really, really poor people the super rich can enjoy that ignorance is bliss thing.

Nice one, Rick. Acting disdainful of, and superior to, someone who you predict is going to do what you set out to do in your first paragraph is pretty clever. Clearly you’re above pointing out spelling errors, except that it’s okay to point them out in order to preemptively prevent someone from pointing out spelling errors.

rick, thanks for the fix. I depend on you early readers to help me out.

Hammertime I’m not even smart enough to figure out your post.

But yes I am disdainful of those that feel the need to correct spelling when it’s obvious what is meant. Maybe it’s because I’m in that boat and make TONS of errors. See past posts. Plus I have no clue when there or their is suppose to go. Literally flunked one semester of English. But yet I’m also a some what successful writer and know that’s why God created editors. So to me spelling errors are no big deal yet I know……………

Greg I think you’re heaping a whole lot of criticism at Clark. I think the talent issue pre-dates his role as owner. Lamar left Carl in charge for too long with too much authority. There were no checks and balances and now we as fans are feeling the pain.

Clark’s preceived lack of interest in the team by managing things from Texas doesn’t feel great but I still firmly believe we have to let this train wreck play out through the end of next season. If we’re still here with an obvious lack of talent and oddball coaching decisions/changes then I agree we can hit the panic button.

I think you, Greg, and Nick Wright are off on Larry. He is running behind the worst line in NFL and is getting hit in the backfield as if the defense picked the right play on techmo bowl. Do I think he is the LJ of old, no. Is he the worst in the league, in stats, yes but I beleive he is somewhere int he middle with a decent line.

Let me settle this once and for all. I heard one of the guys on 810 go on a 15 minute rant wed morning about Clark not caring because he doesn’t live in KC and he would rather have Jerry Jones as an owner because he cares.

Hellooooooo does the freaking owner of Msdonalds, Sears, Target, and a zillion other corporations live in Kansas City? Yet their businesses seem to do just fine. So the idea that you have to live where you team is to run it properly is just crazy. Especially coming from radio guys who’s owners often aren’t local guys.

Rick – McDonalds, Sears and Target are all retail chains with thousands of locations across the globe.

    Arrowhead = one location.

We just need a little love right now, maybe a hug and pat on the back from the owner saying it will be alright just so we no he cares 🙂

Please don’t make me defend local radio again…it upsets my stomach 🙂

It IS maddening and frustrating and embarrassing that Josh McDaniels appears to be a better coach than Haley. But I use the word “APPEARS” on purpose.

I watch the Broncos, and I see much better line play on both sides of the ball, which I think is THE reason the Chiefs are struggling this year. Kyle Orton is getting much praise, but the guy has an eternity to throw when compared to Matt Cassel. And the Broncos’ opponents’ QB’s are being rushed often.

In addition to that, the Broncos have had 3 games that could have EASILY been defeats in the closing minutes….including the absolute prayer that was answered in Week 1.

Denver’s almost assuredly gonna be in the playoffs….which is nauseating. But this year’s Broncos make me think of the 1995 Chiefs team that went 13-3. The Chiefs won 3 games in overtime at home and Vanover was returning kicks and punts for touchdowns all year. I remember the local media not being convinced the Chiefs were as great as the record indicated….and maybe were right, as we lost 10-7 to the Colts in playoffs.

If Denver wins a playoff game, I’ll admit I wish we had McDaniels. But if they flame out at the end of the year, and trot out Kyle Orton as their starter next year, I think the Chiefs next year can start competing with the Broncos.

For me, the jury’s still out on deciding who’s better between Hoody Jr. and Mr. Tough Guy.

It’s good to break balls on mispelling names. Spell the names correctly if only out of respect. That being said Clark Cunt, (intentional disrespect), needs to be visible in this community. Stop into some bars on a Saturday night and by the house a round. Troll the parking lot before home games. Set up a blog like Mark Cuban. SOMETHING to show he gives a shit and is more than the lucky sperm doofus he comes off as. Maybe he could buy Gloria Squitiro’s balls for a couple of mil. Then the Funks could pay the city back and have money to ride off into the sunset so stringbean won’t run for mayor again.

I think to compare denver and KC is crazy and the only thing they have in common is first year coach’s. I do concur with Nick that Denver’s record is a mirage and they really aren’t an elite team. Thought the comparison to the 13-3 Chiefs was great.

Arrowhead may just be one location but obviously the Hunt’s have various business interests all over the world just like the chain restaurants. Maybe Clark should move to Columbus so the Crew knows he’s really supporting them?

I think it can be easily argued that other NFL owners who seem to be more visible and passionate about their NFL investment also have other business endeavors. I don’t believe this is unique to the Hunt family, nor is anyone asking for the Hunt family to move their residence.

I think you have me on the point about other owners.

But the second point you missed which was yes 810 personality(not St. John the fat white guy) was absolutely saying Clark needed to move to KC.

  19. Anonymous says:

    Collective Noses
I agree Rick…Clark Hunt’s place of residence will have little material impact on the Chiefs…other than maybe in the court of public perception…which last checked hasn’t helped win any games lately.

If we could only be so lucky to have a local and outspoken owner like Dan Snyder, Al Davis or Jerry Jones. Everything would be fine then. You guys that think Clark living here has anything to do with the success of the team are ignorant. We will only be as good as our GM allows us. The mistake was LAMAR sticking with Carl for too long. Clark waited one year, assessed the situation and then went out and hired the best available GM in the NFL. That sounds like a smart business man to me. No knee jerk reactions, assessed where the organization was, did his due diligence and then made the best hire possible. We aren’t even a year into the new regime and you guys want to bail. The cupboard was bare retards. It will get worse before it gets better…but it WILL get better.

Clark Hunt will soon rate as one of the worst
owners in the nfl…right behind dan snyder.
Don’t fool yourself chiefs fans…this guy doesnt
give a shit about this team…it’sall about his
    making money…lots of it.
NOT living in this town is a huge problem. Every
nickel and dime this p.o.s. makes heads right to
dallas. NOt a single dime of personal hunt money
goes to any charity in kc. NOt a single dime
and even lenny dawson is embarrased by the fact
that these “great” people have basically used the
city as their own little atm. Go to dallas..and
they are the big money behind millions of dollars
while as absentee owners we here in kc don’t
    see a dime.
If he lived here and had to face the fans who
gave their entire years entertainment and
disposable dollars to him to watch 10 games
he would deifinitely have a different attitude
and might not be so fucking cheap. Lets see his
kids go to a local school where their schoolmates
hassle them because the team stinks. Ask hank
stram about it..his kids were under the gun
constantly when the chiefs were bad.
Clark has one goal just like his dad did.
Make money.Lots of it. And do whatever it takes
    to make more.
He lied to the jackson county taxpayers…screwed
the state out of millions….has failed to live
up to his end of the deal to finance a good team.
Fuck you clark. I can’twait to see you and spit
in your face. You are a trust fund baby and you
have fucked the loyal fans and taxpayers of the
city that made you billions. Fuck off you
    filthy piece of shit!

meant hank jr…stu or the other stram kids.
Clark needs to get his head bashed in. The fans
of this town have been loyal to this jackoff.
They’ve given him their hard earned dollars..
even in the worst recession in our history..
and he walks off with millions using it to fund
his fun and games and charities in dallas.
We will get even with clark. He needs a good
kc style ass kicking. I only hope to see him
walking thru the parking lot like his dad
did. It would not be pretty.

if you want football, get the nfl ticket on directv and you will see football.

those moron fkn idiots hired a cuntry club douchebag, and a daddy’s boy (who never played/coached the game) to lead men on the field. all that lil bitch can do is scream like a bitch pussy daddygirl that he is, she has ruined the team….fk this bs..it is over, and i dont care, AT ALL…

I DONT FKN CARE NOT ONE FKN BIT!!!..I AM NOT EVEN MAD!!! THOSE FKN MTHRFKRS RUINED MY CHIEFS!!! FKN FKRS!!!!

Ok, really we understand your mad. But to blame Clark cause he doesn’t live here? If it was only about $$ he would have kept the best in the biz (Carl Peterson). I’m gonna make enemies by saying I think he does care. He has to care. Face it, football is his business and if he doesn’t care he won’t make $$.

Fkem doesn’t care. See that, he doesn’t care enough to get really p’od and tell us he doesn’t care. and then yell and use Boldface. LOL

    Patience my young padawan.
