Kansas City Live! block Closes Tonight for Cerner ‘Bash’ with Two Dog Night

Think party out of bounds…

Thinking about cutting loose at the Power & light District tonight? Think again!

Pretty much the entire KC Live! block – including PBR, Mosaic, Tengo Sed, Rock Bar, Maker’s Mark, Pizza Bar, McFadden’s will be off limits to the general public from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. tonight. In addition, Walnut will be closed for a private street fair and the band Three Dog Night will perform a private concert on the P&L’s main outdoor stage.

Other businesses and portions of the Power & Light District will remain open to the public, a spokeswoman says.

Tonight’s guests of honor: attendees of local health care giant Cerner’s huge Health Conference.

    Who cares if it’s blocked off from the public? For the 20 people who might have gone down there for whatever reason maybe they can go visit the beautiful “Plaza” or any place else worthy of your hard earned American dollar!

    I saw Three Dog Night at a similar free deal down at Barney Allis Plaza a few years ago and they were surprisingly good at their advanced age even sans Negron. And apparently Negron discounts the fact that Danny & Cory sang lead respectively on two of their three Number 1 hits, ‘Black & White’ and ‘Mama Told Me Not To Come’.
