The only positive thing for the Chiefs out of this game would be if they got frequent flyer miles for the trip. Zero-nada-zip EFFORT. No improvement that I can see after the first two games. It could be worse we could be Cleveland, but that would be an improvement. Matt Cassel was not very convincing in his “we can compete with anybody in the NFL” statement. He did have a very nice suit on though. As Fernando used to say on SNL. “It’s more important to look good than to be good”. Mission accomplished in the presser Matt. The better game in Philly on Sunday would have been to watch Pat’s and Geno’s fight over customers.

Herm’s a friggin genius. He helps create this fiasco of a team, gets canned, becomes an “expert” on ESPN, and gets to watch Whitlock try to pin the whole mess on Pioli and Haley. His only mistake was not trying to win Powerball during this magical run he’s on.

Scott and Todd knew, or should have known what they were getting. I don’t expect any different results over the next two weeks. This squad isn’t that good. Half the roster won’t be here next season. We’re looking at three to five years before we have anything to really get excited about. If I were Scott + Todd I’d make a run at Jeff Gacia when he gets released. Let somebody with some real balls and experience run this team to see what it can really do.

Frustration is VERY understandable. But we all knew…and are finding out…our roster is NOT good, and this is gonna be a year of taking baby steps towards a hopefully great team in 2-4 years.
It sucks for those who actually spend money on watching the Chiefs. It’s unfair…it’s like Haley is gonna treat this WHOLE year as a preseason game.
I’m fine with it. I’ll judge Haley/Pioli next year and the year after.

Fans knew this team was bad. But there was some hope. Not for a playoff team or anything but to have a team that was better then last years.
So-far THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT! In fact this team looks worse then last years.
That’s why fans are mad. KC is now the Lions of the AFC. Look around the NFL. A lot of bad teams out there have more talent and more upside then KC. The Raiders have more talent. The Bucs have more talent. The Lions have more talent.
The only NFL that is less talented then KC are the Rams.
This team will Rival any of the bad teams they had in the ’70s and 80’s.
