Tony: Clay Chastain Train set to ride again this Fall

Kansas City’s favorite politically involved tourist is ready to start up his quest to bring light rail to Kansas City once again . . . And all of a sudden it doesn’t look like such a long shot.

Consider: Political activist

Hasn’t the Great Train Demon figured out that even if he succeeds in passing a new ordinance, Mayor Grand Funk Railroad will just ignore it. The Funk isn’t going to accept and transact on any plan that isn’t his! Not that he had a great result with his last plan 🙂

    Go Home Evil Train Demon!

Clay makes Don Quixote look like Larry Johnson. I admire his passion but it’s become more about Clay versus the City than what is best for the city . It ain’t business it’s personal.

Kansas City and Clay deserve each other, we’ve had about five morons in a row run the city plus about 50 in their city councils…oh I mean neighborhood do gooders..sorry…..yeah we need light rail for the nobody to ride group…nobody lives here for the most part, we have almost no tourism and downtown is joining the zoo,rivermarket,l8 and moron to along with major moron cleaver and barnes….who have zero busines skill or experience and made sure KC is bankrupt, empty and well go look at it…oh yeah we do have the areana and six new bars with one new downtown restaurant for l.5 billion that cordish has already left town on…brilliant…YOUR GODDAMN RIGHT I wish I had not been indicted so I could have run against barnes instead of my dad….and he at 70 almost beat her….so yeah give clay his train, we deserve it….and him and them….we lost, they won….kc is so far gone, all the kings horses and all the kings men, can’t put kansas city back together again…

I believe the word “stranglehold” would have been more appropriate than “stronghold”. But who really cares?

Clay is right and deserves his shot. Clay had established solid transit plans before Funkhouser even knew how to audit the coffee supplier at City Hall. I have always been bewildered at why Chastain gets this load of garbage. The problem with Kansas City is the Status Quo. They want their prescious little Crown Center, Mission Hills, Brookside elite set to rule this town. Chastain is trying to give us an infrastructure will define us as a large progressive city.
