Soren’s comment about Bobby Engram is just another in a long list of examples of him saying completely inane things.

Ann Carroll isn’t “all that”….and clearly she isn’t too smart when it comes to football either.

Tim Grunhard didn’t even know what state he lived in. Now that, his “Drinkers Secret” and that he’s a coach of a HS football team is a embarrassment.

One way or another it will be a great story. If Favre falls flat on his face then all the naysayers will say I told you so but if the Vikings happen to go to the Super Bowl then it will be a story that will be in books and the movies someday.

As far as Favre is concerned he gets the opportunity to get revenge on his former team which is probably all he really cares about. He will take the money though.

    Favre is the:

    Old. Overrated. Interception. Machine.

As a Jets fan, I can say that Favre and Favre alone cost us a playoff spot last year. The Vikings will end up feeling the same pain this year.

Grunny is right, for once. If the Vikes go to the Superbowl then I guess it is possible that jojo is God.

Since we haven’t heard from JOJO I’m assuming he is in the cave for three days until he arises again. I say Mermaid this weekend assuming they turn the lights back on at the trailer.

No matter that this man holds every QB record???, NO MATTER THAT HE WON SUPERBOWLS, you people will talk shit about him, it is the American way. You have nevbre done a thing with your miserable life, so you rip apart anyone else doing something with tiers.

Favre is the greatest, he never had any bad events, he never killed anyone DUI, he never shot a gun in a packed NY bar, or shot imself in the leg.

HE DOES NOT WANT TO BREAK HIS STREAK OF NEVER MISSING A START IN THE NFL. His concesutive staring record is a steallar feat, something you pussy naysayers will never know about.

The guy is a legend already. Money in the bank. Decent physical health. His wife beat cancer. He’s doing endorsements and could certainly work on TV or radio. One whack upside the head and he’s wearing diapers the rest of his life. Go climb Mt. Everest if you need a thrill. That’ll put you in more elite company than the HOF will. He’s still pissed at the Packers for dissing him. See a shrink, get over it. Right jojo?

watching the pregame for tonights the Chiefs game sucks. Cassel looks like a pussy, and Todd Haley looks like a stung out junky on skid row.

I am a long term Chiefs fan, but I am not a homer, I call it like I see it.

Why the Chiefs gave this bench riding one year wonder pussy a $60,000,000 contract is beyond me.

Where will the motivation come from?

Why do people complain about Favre money, and not a peep about this bench pussy getting a SIXTY MIILION CONTRACT….SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS!!! ?? WTF???

Gimme Fvre over bench boy ANYDAY….

we will still rebuilding in 4 years, AND UNLIKE THE ROYALS THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!! THERE IS NO SALARY CAP ISSUE IN THE NFL!!, yeah I am pissed.

Ann Carroll is great with Vikings stuff and of course biased and a huge Brett Favre fan but overall she does a good job covering the Vikes

This is crazy talk, it is old news, we all know it, but it is crazy.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4327067

“”Matt Cassel, a career backup in college and in the pros, parlayed a great 2008 season into a lucrative franchise tag…….

Cassel and the Chiefs worked out a six-year deal that will pay him in excess of $10 million a season, according to a source. The contract will keep Cassel with the Chiefs until 2014. “”

The deal is for $63 million, with $28 million guaranteed, according to a source. He’s going to make $40.5 million in the first three years of his contract……..

Cassel is believed to be the only quarterback in NFL history to start an NFL game without starting a game in college. Cassel was a backup at USC.

Favre on the other hand, er, other arm.

Since he signed with the Vikings, they have sold an additional 4000 season tickets, 15,000 single game tickets and 5000 Favre Jerseys.

It was only 8,000 tickets, but that is only counting Tuesday-

…..””the veteran quarterback joined the Vikings on Tuesday, and by the end of the day, fans had purchased more than 2,500 season tickets and 8,000 single-game seats, according to Steve LaCroix, the team’s vice president of sales and service and chief marketing officer.””

    BTW
IT WAS A VERY CRAPPY NIGHT FOR THE MINNEAPOLIS VERSUS KANSAS CITY RIVALARY, DANG IT!!!

at least the Royals put up a better show of it, taking it to extra innings, and going 50 pitches deep ionto their best closer, thus eliminating him for the rest of this series.

damn those 1-35 driving minnies, it is almost like a home game for them at tha K, from the the sound of so many in the crowd. I am being cival, kind and polite only becuase I respect Joe Mauer. He is the baddest man in sports.

If you dont believe, look him up. 1st catcher in forever to be batting .396 at this point in the season.

The Royals put a better show? We had a chance to win with just seconds to go, that was a crappy night huh? Crazy is right.

If you watched Cassel at the end of last year he was one of the best quarterbacks in the NFl, HE led his team to some tough comeback victories in bad weather on the road…this guy is, I think a top five quarterback in this league…our team has no talent to help him…but we will eventually and all this crazy talk will end…Trent Green, a B quarterback, was 6-l0, then I believe 8-8 and finally l3-3, with Dick, so it took time when we had nothing else…this kid is much better…his footwork, he sees the field well, this guy has it all..give him time..Dawson even sees it….so lets get off his back…sadly our front office didn’t get him any help…no backs, no line, one reciever…no tight end..Christ…its tough when you are a one man band…this year will be awful, like 4-l2, lucky Denver is worse…

Craig, are you saying if you could pick any QB for the Chiefs, any starter or backup from all the other teams, there are only 4 guys you’d pick ahead of Cassel? Say it ain’t so. Roethlisberger, two Manning brothers, Brady, Warner, Collins, Sanchez, McNabb, Romo, Young, Garcia, Russell, Delhomme, Brees, etc

  18. Anonymous says:

    craig glazer
Yes and here’s why, I agee Payton,Brady,Roethlisberger, mayabe then Brees and McNabb are ahead of him and maybe the young Manning, but he is young and we know McNabb is getting up there in age as is Warner…the others you named are all good, but I don’t see greatness in Romo or Russell, the others are nearing the end of their careers, Garcia(who has been wasted, great talent too late now, kinda a Rich Gannon type too bad wish we had him four years back)Delhomme(also underratted)…I like Matt cause he has a big upside, as this team becomes a real team in the next two or three years he will be comming into his prime..age 30 or so…I said last year he was my pick to bring here to build a team around…I’m glad we got him…but as you know we just don’t have much else to help…I hate it that we didn’t get Jeremy Maclane(sp?) and Chase Kauffman, for him to build with, I just think I would have gotten a couple weapons and bought some D…draft that next year, also we needed some O line…but oh well…I feel only seven or so of these players will be on this team in two years, most of these guys are busts as you see…

If Matt stays healthy he is our future and a good one…lets see if I am right…time will tell
