Keitzman has now reached the point where he honestly believes he’s doing Kansas City a favor by being on the air. I left that clown behind two years ago–there’s plenty of places to get KC sports coverage than WHB, the station that’s ‘powered by fans’.
And comparing Carl Peterson to David Glass shows a real lack of appreciation for the Peterson era, at least in the 90’s. 10-6, 11-5, and 13-3 records are looking pretty good to me right about now…

Keitzman’s a pompous, arrogant jerk and Nick Wright’s an idiot for saying Pitino’s the best coach. Off the top of my head, Bill Self, Ben Howland, Roy Williams, Bo Ryan and Coach K are all better coaches than Pitino. And better people.

who is stuart goldman? And what does he know
about baseball? This guy joins the rest of
the worst sports analysts in the nation right
here in kc. 610/810 ARE Wrong most of the
time. Jack (I’m lucky I’m still here thanks to the other guy having a heart attack)Harry is terrible. He’s wrong more than kietzman.
Hall is the worst. He compares the end of the
ring of honor at arrowhead to the technological
advances that are making print newspapers
    dinosaurs. WTF?
Taking a great tradition herein kc where we
honor the really great athletes who have played
here…getting tacky by putting their names
on an obnoxious ribbon score board with their
    photos…that’s technology? Greg…its stupid.
And how do you extend the lack of class in
taking those names down…putting them on
a video screen when all we have here in kc
is tradition…the tradition of a once great
    football team and program.
    WTF are you thinking greg?
And of course what would a OTC column be without throwing shit on other more successful
writers and persons in the community.
Petty jealousy by all these people is becoming
the norm in this town. Look in the mirror
Greg and wonder how much more crap you can
    pile on the other people.
You are starting to see a backlash against all
this negativism in the media today. It is wearing
poeple out. The Royals and Chiefs are out
Greg/Jack (bulldog) harry: Keep your money. Noone
puts a gun to the heads of fans to pay $22 for
parking. Noone putsa gun to the heads of fans
to pay for tickets. Keep your money in your pocket. You won’t be missed. You both are old..
worn out…crabby people with totally negative
ideas. Not one good thing about either of our
teams has come out from you two old coots.
If you don’t like theannouncers…turn off the
game…if you don’t like watching the chiefs..
don’t watch them. If you are concerned about
    paying for parking..stay at home.
And greg..please get a life. Watching replays of
a pre season game on sunday morning is really
realoly bad. Try maybe going to church…or
doing the lady…or doing something constructive
but watching replays of a cheifs game is
    really strange!

C&C are frat boys trying to do a radio show and Nick Wright thinks he’s black……….no thanks.

    810 scoops 610 once again.

I glance at his posts. I’m waiting for him to take the race challenge. Part of the problem is he just repeats himself over and over and over again.

I’m with Randy I liked the ring of honor.

It’s hard for me to figure out what is nastiest. Pitino for doing her on a table. Her for letting him do her on a table. The restaurant for allowing that to be done on a table. Or the ast. coach who watched as he did her on a table. I would love to know what business is currently like. Its a sad state of our morals when he is supported by administration. He should of been canned. My take.

Gosh…i hate to admit this…I agree with you Kiss. But I’m ok with Nick wanting to be Black. C&C are okay some times other times they get on my nerves.

No way, Hamblin making comments about fat women? Really? Only a couple of weeks after saying he would prefer that there were no women announcers?

Does 610 actively recruit misogynists or did they just get lucky with this baffoon?

I read Jojo’s posts to feel better about myself.

Not sure what I would do with myself if I went to a website everyday that made me SO mad, I had to write a 500-word rambling, repetitive, near-psychotic, unintelligible discourse about why it makes me mad.

See you tomorrow Jojo – don’t let me down.

Greg, how come you have never mentioned that KK was red-flagged trying to influence the Arbitron Ratings? That is a very serious offense.

actually commenting about them. And I’ve
seen people actually wanting to know about the
great race…i made the bet…will hall take

As a society we had two chances to send strong messages recently and we blew it. NO JOB FOR YOU MICHAEL VICK….NO JOB FOR YOU RICK PITINO. We are seriously fucked up.

MDSHAGGER…WTF? Just what we needed. Some
self righteous blow hard morally stringent
right wing nut trying to tell us all how to
live our lives while they break every commandment known to moses.
Whats the matter with pitino? He got some ho
pregnant then bought her an abortion. Reembmer
shagger…abortion is still legal in the u.s.
And don’t try to masquerade as some morally
correct do no wrong anti abortion right wing
conservative (except when it comes to money)
perfect human being. I’ve read your posts and
    you are no angel.
Get in line with the rest of your righteous
    brothers like newt..terry…utah senators…
governors…republican porn kings if you want
to tell the resto f us how to live.
Why fire the guy. Aren’t all you righteous people about forgiving for sins. Aren
‘t you about salvation and making yourself whole
Vick did a heinous crime. No doubt about it.
But his punishment has been served and its now
between himan d his god. Pitino did something
wrong…but its not illegal and its only guys
like you who are shouting for his firing.
Don’t tell us how to live our lives when yours
    is probably a mess.
But help out greg hall. He needs some excitement in his life. Watching reruns of kc
chiefs pre season games is really really boring.

    Uncle Dick
Our society doesn’t send messages, ManD, unless it’s a text message while driving a train or plane.

Vick whacks a couple of dogs, big deal. We whack a million cows a day so we can all have a Big Mac and leather seats in our pick-ups but no one says shit about that. Stallworth kills a human being and gets six days, what kind of a fucked up message is that?

Pitino bangin’ some gal on a restaurant table and the world is going to end. Who fuckin’ cares?
You’re looking to college athletics to find role models for our kids? That’s like trying to find proper grammar and punctuation in one of jojo’s posts.

Last time I got some on a table was at Denny’s in Northtown. Big ol’ blond waitress named Angie. Talk about your Grand Slam. That table still wobbles.

Still have 10 grand that says Hall whips jojo like a red headed step-child. Get back, jojo.
Why don’t you do it in the road? Noone will be watching….

Who is Stuart Goldman? Better yet, who is jojo? He sure spends a lot of his time slamming Greg but can’t get enough of reading Greg’s columns. It’s like a kid in junior high pushing a girl because he has a crush.

Bryce Harper will be the biggest bust in the history of the draft, If the Royals take him he’ll make Moustakas and Hosmer look like Mantle and Gehrig.

Brodie Croyle is the best QB the Chiefs have. Hands down. If our line could protect him, if our WRs could get open (like Bow was the other night) and if he can stay healthy, Croyle can play. I almost hope Cassel misses a game due to injury and Croyle comes in and lights it up. He’ll get popular in this town real fast.

All you old worn out negative naysayers…
We love the Chiefs. They are our team.
Good…bad…we still support them and we are
getting tired of you bashing our team.
Go f*ck yourself all you losers. We will get
even and make you feel our wrath.
I’m going to watch the chiefs. If you don’t
like the parking/team/coaches then shut the
fuck up and go watch a movie but don’t
    ruin our team.

Croyle making a move in Kansas City?
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 18, 2009 8:23 PM ET
Over the weekend, we almost wrote a post on Brodie Croyle appearing to pass Tyler Thigpen on Kansas City’s quarterback depth chart. Ultimately, it didn’t make the cut.

On Tuesday, Kansas City Star writer Kent Babb wrote that he thought Croyle was playing so well, “he’s threatening [Matt] Cassel’s job.”

    Now that’s a post.

Babb’s bold declaration — on Twitter, not in the newspaper — defies logic. Not only did the Chiefs trade for Cassel to be the starter, they handed him a huge contract only a month ago.

Seeing Cassel on the bench would be the most surprising development of a preseason in which Michael Vick became Donovan McNabb’s teammate.

Then again, Chiefs coach Todd Haley didn’t douse water on the notion Tuesday. Asked if Cassel has been the best quarterback in camp, Haley said: “I’ll hold off on answering that.”

We’ve read that Cassel has been inconsistent at times, but overall the reviews of his camp performance have been positive. Croyle played well in Kansas City’s preseason opener, but it’s hard to believe that would be enough to threaten Cassel.

It is clear, though, that Tyler Thigpen is the forgotten man in Kansas City. Babb wonders if Thigpen will even make the team.

It’s also clear that Chiefs coach Todd Haley thinks his team needs some tough love after the Herm Edwards era. Asked Tuesday about Brett Favre’s return, Haley turned the focus back inward.

“I’m just worried about this house. It’s on fire, and I’m trying to keep it from burning down.”

Your 2009 Kansas City Chiefs, ladies and gentlemen!

Don’t we really mean Arrowdead Stadium?

Far be it from me to piss on anyone’s parade but with our soldiers still getting killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan the whole “home of the Chiefs” ending to the National Anthem seems very disrespectful.
