WBDATK Keeps These Royals Fans Smiling

When you are a fan of the Kansas City Royals, sometimes you need to be creative to stretch your interest in the club past the cool months of spring and into August. Brad, a 31-year-old Royals fan, is the patriarch of one of the more unique annual celebrations at The K. He and his friends call it, Wife Beater Day At The K. To Brad

what is the objective of this stupid article?

It is becoming apparent that greg hall is, how might I state this, “unworthy of this website”.

Hopefully the leaders of this site will ask him what is his main malfunction, didnt his mommy and daddy love him?

what is the objective of this stupid article?

Let’s think of other days we could have a the K.

WHDGDK-We Hate David Glass Day at the K.–Wear creepy guy masks.

WWMLBRKD–When will Major Leauge Baseball Return to K day. Wear minor league uniforms from all Royals affiliates.

HMEATKD–How Many Errors at the K Day.–Wear gloves backward on both hands. Drop any ball hit into stands. Lucky fan guesses right number and gets to replace a Royals player in the field.

    Any others out there?

    Interesting story though.

There is no objective to this article, except as an amusing feature — which makes it no different from the typical JoPo fare, except this focuses on a group of Royals fans rather than godding-up an athlete. Why is this “unworthy” or objectionable?

My only question is about the meaning of the term “wife beaters?” I doubt this represents advocacy for domestic violence, but is rather some obscure or tongue-in-cheek reference — but to what I’m not sure.

Remove Greg Hall from this website? Greg Hall IS this website! He’s the two all beef patties. Everyone else is special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

I don’t really see a need for an objective.

It’s a nice little anecdote describing a group of people having fun.

Thanks, Greg, it’s nice to see people are organizing events for Royals’ games.

THIS IS INCREDIBLE! I am going next year and I do not care if I am invited. “BeatThis” is a douchebag with no friends.

Wifebeater refers to the sleeveless undershirt that was popular in the 40’s and 50’s. My dear dad use to sit around in his boxers and wifebeater to beat the heat in the good ol’ summertime. My sixteen year old introduced me to the term earlier this year or I would have been unaware.

A hundred guys and a couple of drunk chicks, all with mustaches and wearing wife beaters. Sounds like a big crowd at a T-Bones game.

    Waiting,
The clueless part comes to me naturally. As for me thinking the NFL would pass on Vick, yeah, I was wrong. He served his time and I hope he can restart his career.

I still think he will be a PR nightmare for the Eagles and a major distraction for his teammates

Waiting: Greg’s posts get more responses than any other contributor here. If the Star had any business sense they’d hire him to write a Point Counterpoint column once a week against BIG SEXY. As for the Vick signing we all knew, someone, would sign him. He is going to be a distraction and in my opinion Roger Goodell made a mistake by letting him back in the league. It’s a privelege to play in the NFL, not a right. I’m sure his thinking was if I don’t I’m gonna have the blacks up my ass and probably a good chance Vick winds up in more trouble or maybe even dead without the NFL security blanket. Hopefully Andy Reid does a better job with Michael than he does with his own kids. It looks like Donovan McNabb played a big part in getting Michael to Philly so a big part of Vick’s future and character rehab will be in Donovan’s hands. I think he made a mistake but I give him credit for having the balls to do it.

    OH BS,, again.

A distraction?? oh wait are you talking about TO in Buffalo, cuz I do not recall Mike Vick EVER being a distaction.

I only remember him being the most exciting player in the NFL. He was the dog every Sunday, and he may not have realized people look very dimmly on dog fighting,,,oh wait…MOSTmost people look dimmly on it, BUT Other people are going to a dog fight tonight, right here in river city.

If know you idiots wanna persecute people DO THE HARD THING, and go after people attending and promoting dog TODAY. But I bet you idiots would rather ignore the fact that dog fighting IS STILL GOING ON, and you would claptrap BS stay on Mike Vick, a man who lost EVERYTHING, and you people STILL want to harang him.

Please after people STILL USING DOG FIGHTING AS ENTERTAINMENT, or hey, how about using thier kids fighting as entertainment??….the world is messed up, Mike Vick is not the worst of it.

Females in wife beater shirts. That is awesome and I’m sure better then the recent top day at the K.

Concur with the smartman that greg is the straw that stirs the drink on this site. Disagree with smartman about the goddell and blacks comment.

Waiting-I think you need to understand 2 wrongs don’t make a right. Also they were talking about future distraction not past. That being said I think Vick should be given another chance.

Also I’m not sure I would call greg a sports writer. Not sure what term i would use. Maybe media observer?

Also waiting you are the one that apparently likes changing your name. In a previous post you said the exact same thing but called yourself noname. You keep this up you are going to fool people into thinking Greg has more then 10 readers.
