Pete’s a great guy! Always used to come by the YMCA in KCK across from the Kansan and pump iron with the well to do and ne’er do wells. Never had an attitude, just one of the guys. Best wishes to you Pete!

I know it seems I know everyone and have a story on all those people…but its true in the case as well…Pete Smith has worked with my Dad, Stan and myself and family for twenty years..in fact his office defended me and won a case when my dad sued me in 2001, sadly over the club…that one got national attention, as did my own indictment in 2002-03 that Pete directed to Jim Eisenbrandt who got me off that as well…Pete is a tough, tough lawyer, I would hate to be on the other end of his punch in court or out, he is in great shape, on both..

His law firm has many powerful attorneys including Tom Bucannon(sp) who worked for us on several occasions and won all his cases for us…

They charge alot, but they win….you get what you pay for and these guys are outstanding…Pete is quite a character, interesting and kinda fun..but like I said, I would hate to cross him…

Hearne, your former co-workers at The Star are right. You need a copy editor. And a punctuation guide. Or at the very least, a proofreader.

And by the way, what the hell is “a quarter helmetless motorcycle miles”? I stopped reading shortly after that point.
