This just in via a Power & Light District spokeswoman re next week’s closing of Vinino Bistro...
While the details remain sketchy – Vinino though less than two years old – will close for four weeks for a major remodeling and expansion. The space then will reopen sometime thereafter with some sort of “Vinino concept” (nothing was spelled out but the inference is that it would be an Italian theme). Lots of new everything though, food, decor and what not.
Will it still bear the name Vinino?
That part remains unknown, the spokeswoman says. However employees will either be granted the option of working in other P&L positions and/or returning to whatever it is that resumes business in Vinino’s space.
