Wow that’s a bad sign. It use to be the mention of Glazer would spark a tornado of response. Now not a peep. I seriously hope that the movie gets made as I think Craig needs it. I also think it would provide some amusing entertainment for the audience. It sounds like a good popcorn movie. That being said it surprises me that as familiar Craig is with Hollywood he doesn’t realize that blowing smoke “this is the most commercial comedy-drama I’ve ever read” is a job and lifestyle prerequisite. This is great timing as this is the same type of smoke that made Farrah think she could leave a successful TV series and become a top draw in movies and win a few academy awards. Along with Suzanne Somers, David Caruso, Erik Estrade..the list goes on and on. You just have to take the things you are told with a grain of salt. And the more positive the less likely to be true.

Also one of the guys in the picture looks seriously blitzed so he may have been willing to say anything for another drink.

Rick: The comments were closed after the initial post. Probably Editorial License so as to not offend an “advertiser”, AND source of free admission and cocktails AND maybe even some “referrals” to blow and weed AND strip club running mate. Best thing for people to do is not post. Craig thrives on getting beat up and then calls everybody a “playah hatah”. Same shit different day. If Jason Whitlock was white, he’d be Craig Glazer.

liked the book alot, don’t doubt Gordon and Eisner felt strongly about it or they wouldn’t have bought it and spent all that money. Looks like this film will happen, hope so, I want to see it

I think these guys did a movie called
hamlet 2. It was a terrible failure
Hopefully the film gets made and hits it
big but the track record of these guys
is not real good. And the writer claims to
have written some other movies which i never
    heard of.
The story sounds good. Maybe it should have gone
to a real group of movie people. It would be
great for the story to be a film so it would
be kind of like rocky 5 and tommy morrison
    back in the 90’s.
Stop beating on the guy about this. You’re all
    just jealous.

JoJo, don’t know what movies you see or know, but you really need to stop writing things that make you look stupid, cause you are when it comes to films and the people who make them. Hamlet 2, now on cable, was a mild hit, the most money ever paid for a film at Sundance and it was the first film Eric Eisner did. His brother, Brett, just directed Sahara, it grossed 126 million dollars, US only, big hit.

The writer for King of Sting, Dan Gordon, is one of the top paid and most respected Hollywood script men of all-time…you never heard of Wyatt Eurp starring Kevin Costner? The Hurricane was nominated for several academy awards including Best Actor(Danzel Washington)from the best selling book about boxer Rubin Hurricane Carter, wrongly accused of murder.

The next movie, Murder in The First another hit, starred Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater. That film was also true about a murder in Alcatrz prison. Passenger 57 starred Wesly snipes and was a big hit. So JoJo, cool it with the hate mail, stop being wrong and loud about it. By the way Eric Esiners Dad, Michael Eisner has made more then l00 movies, he has made more than one billion dollars from films and was C.E.O at Disney for years. Jerry Brukheimer and Donald Simpson worked for Eisner. He is a very big player in LA as are his two sons, Eric and Brett.

Gordon is top notch and is writing several big “Mafia” movies now as well. Look these guys up on IMBD.

I see you people don’t care for Craig Glazer but these film folks are big people and can make, and have made, several hit movies. As you can see I am a film lover. I follow this stuff.

P.S. JoJo, Dan Gordon did not writer or have anything to do with Hamlet 2, I just checked on line. In fact Eisner shot it for 8 million and was paid 10 million for the movie upfront. It was a small budget and got decent reviews. That film is a comedy with pretty big name cast, including Steve Coogan and Elizebeth Shue(cocktail(tom cruise) and Leaving Los Vegas, she was nominated best supporting actress for that role which won the Oscar for Nic Cage.

JoJo check things out before you write dumb comments.

Rob-VERY IMPRESSED. I consider myself pretty up on movies. But I learned several things from your post. I was aware of their past hits but Hamlet 2 being the most money paid for a film at Sundance and a few other things I had no knowledge of. THANKS Hey if the movie gets made let’s plan a watch party and Craig will have the opportunity to meet some of his fans. I’ll provide security.

The tale of the tape, and I’m sure that Craig Glazer would agree is not that the movie gets made but that a GOOD MOVIE gets made that is true to his story and experience. Lot’s of bad movies get made every year that still make money over their live span of cinematic release, DVD sales and rentals, cable and broadcast tv. So even if the movie gets made and goes straight to DVD it will, in time and through Hollywood accounting “make money”. I think Craig is hoping for something like Goodfellas and not a piece of crap like Get Gotti that shows up every now and then on Oxygen or Lifetime. I don’t know how much creative contol he has over the final product but if it does not hold true to his story and gets reworked beyond recognition I’m sure he will be both pissed and disappointed as would any author from Dr. Seuss to Steven King.

Isn’t Craig Glazer The New Mayor of KCK?
    King Of The Dotte.
