He’s another barry bonds. Human don’t get that
big without some type of help. The league needs
to test him big time now before he wins any more
    games.
Maybe we need to get hillman some maalox cause
    he is full of sh*t!

I have yet to see anyone buzz Pujols and get him out of his comfort zone. Our pitchers are the biggest bunch of pussies I’ve ever seen. After just killing us for two days, I think you’ve got to slip one under the chin. DO SOMETHING TO GET IN HIS HEAD!!!! Anything. I don’t want him hit, but I want him dirty and I want him not in his regular routine. I mean he can’t hit the ball any harder than he already has so it’s not like having him pissed off will change the results to something worse.

Our pitching staff is still full of a bunch of pansies. Any way we can get the color of those joke halter tops to a light purple in honor of the GIANT PANSIES or maybe we can get King Julien from Madagascar in the stadium to introduce our team at the start of the game. Or instead of the K, start calling the stadium the V.

No heart. Same crap, different season.

I agree with Mike. We need a shake up. If we can’t shake up their batter, how about OUR TEAM???

I’m SO SO tired of getting the same results EVERY YEAR.

Stop going to the games! Stop buying products and services from the Royals sponsors. Call or email the sponsors and tell them you intend to boycott them as long as they are associated with the Royals. The only way this team gets any better is if the fans start sending a message that David Glass understands. I’m pretty sure he understands cash flow. If people in Iran are willing to get killed to protest a fixed election we can sure as hell Stay Away From The K!

JoJo, STFU about Pujols on steroids unless you have proof. “Humans don’t get that big without some type of help”? Simply a ridiculous statement. I can list a dozen guys I know from first-person experience who were bigger than Pujols is now (6-3, 210 — hardly gargantuan) when they were teenagers. Besides, steroids don’t help a batter read pitches like Pujols, whose strikeout ratio is once in every 10 PAs for his career, nor do they account for his beautiful mechanics at the plate. Unlike Bonds and Sosa, Pujols’ power numbers were put up from the start of his MLB career at age 21.

Pujols is simply the best baseball player in the game IMHO, and his talent is both natural and developed through hard work and study. If you’re a real baseball fan, enjoy it — his likes pass our way but once a generation. If not, deal with it. But it is real.

Smartman, you must not have noticed this past weekend the stands were filled, and I do mean FILLED, with Cardinals red. They were everywhere.

We went on Sunday, saw the Pujols show and were surrounded by Cards fans. It was disgusting. At the same time I was jealous…jealous of their good team, jealous of their clearly more passionate fans base and jealous they all care enough to buy tickets early and drive across the state to support their team.

There weren’t more than 10,000 Royals fans in the stadium Sunday and I doubt the numbers were much higher Fri or Sat nights.

Jojo is wrong and Mocrash is right. Some people are just naturally big without help. My late step father worked at a steel company. Small guy but had HUGE muscles. Needless to say he wasn’t taking roids. That being said you can be physically strong and mentally weak. The same step father had a dependency on alcohol and was very insecure.
