They should print the halters with images of Hillman and Moore where the “boobs” are. That would be a nice Double “D” Entendre.

Greg: You have so many comments fantasizing about
women and their bodies ( women wearing halter
tops/short shorts in the summer in the outfield)
in many of your comments that maybe you might
want to take some suggestions on how to ease
    that “sexual” tension.
    1. Get some custom made fabric weave shorts from rick the tailor. Wear them and a funky hat down to power and light with whitlock and get some
action. Chances are whitlock won’t help you because the only action he gets is when he
sticks a $20 bill into some strippers g string at a sleazy stripper bar.
    2. Hang with Kietzman. Heck, you can either watch KK from the back seat or get some action yourself in the back seat. Best thing is that
you don’t even have to leave the car to get
“some”. Kietzman may be like a weatherman
(right about 50% of the time) but he sure knows how to work the ladys around the stick shift
and to keep their heads from hitting the steering wheel.
I remember halter top day at royals stadium.
My girfriend got one. I got her to put it
on when we got back to my house. Her breasts
were too large (why were they made for A and
B cups?) that eventually I ended up using
the halter top as a bib for my nephew when he
would stay overnight at my house. Pretty
    ingenius Huh?
Also…something to look into. Why have the
layoffs at the star been mostly white staffers.
When I hear about layoffs down there they are
very seldom minorities who have less tenure
    at the star.

One of my favorite Royals game memories was a Sunday “Halter top day” in the mid-70’s. It was about 100 degrees and as Jo-Jo said the halter tops were like a small triangle. For a 15 year old kid it was heaven. This halter top day it should also be called bring your scissors day to the K.

Meche will be just fine for his next start- he’s from Louisiana and is used to pitching in the heat. In fact he PREFERS to. A huge non-issue if I’ve ever seen one.

“What did Buck expect from a Howard Stern sidekick appearing on live television?”

He got exactly what he expected. I’m baffled why everyone is acting so surprised by this. I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some sort of rehearsal before the show.

    Paul,
I hope you’re right. It just made no sense to me to have Meche throw the ninth when the game was over well before that.

    Luthur,
SI.com has a good back story to the Buck/Lange show at in Richard Deitsch’s column at; http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/richard_deitsch/06/16/buck.lange/index.html?eref=sihp

    Thanks, Greg. I respect Deitsch.

Greg, when I saw Farnsworth warming up in the bully I PRAYED for Meche to roll out there in the 9th to finish it, whether his arm might’ve fallen off or not. ANYBODY but Farnsworth!!!

    Paul,
You’ve got a point. If anybody can give up a five-run homer to the A-Snakes, it’s our Farny.

Greg, for what it’s worth, you may hate the Greinke shirt, but when it was first previewed on the Web, the overall impression from people around the country was, “OMG, what a cool shirt!” Me, I’m fine with it. And hey, you can’t beat the price.

(By the way, I can’t help adding a personal note. You and I and twelve other fine folks shared several weeks cooped up together at StepOne some years back…you’d remember me as the one called Provolone. It’s good to “talk” to you again.)

    cpass,
Agreed. Art and design are impossible to judge since we all have our own definitions of those topics. There are many who loved the Greinke shirt — even the caller who I quoted. I just want some shirt designs that make me want to get off the couch and into line on Tuesday nights.

Hope the past ten years have been kind to you. I still see Jeff W. for lunch and IT mentoring on occassion.

The Chiefs will be closer to 10 wins than two? I’ll take that bet.
