    Dan,
Reread my post then get back to me.

    Here are the numbers:

    SP08 SU08 FA08 WI09 F/M/A09
    WHB 2.5 3.0 3.8 4.3 4.1
    KCSP 2.1 1.7 1.6 1.6 2.2

If you look at this WHB is doing much better in SP09 than SP08 and KCSP is doing about the same which probably means KCSP gets an uptick because of the one month a year the Royals are in contention which is April. I see no trend here other than WHB looking better than last year at the same time. I would really like to see a show to show analysis of time slots.

    losing leads to more losing.
Put butler on a diet. He can’t even bend over
    to pick up a ball.
Jacobs isn’t worth a dime. Why does hillman let
him bat against left handed pitching? He will never hit left handers.
Royals have to stop adding losers to their roster. Are their any players on this team who
have won something besides crisp who had one
    good series.
    Will jacobs/dejesus/crisp/pena/ ever be
    winners.
I’ve been talking about bloomquist for weeks.
He’s the star of the game. 3 for 3. 3 stolen
    bases. rbi/run scored. a hustler. Where’s he
been hillman? What is hillman thinking keeping
    this guy on the bench?
    FIRE HILLMAN/MCCLURE/SEITZER. THE EXPERIMENT
    HAS FAILED.
NEED SOMEONE WITH A HEART AND FIRE LIKE GUILLEN
    IN CHICAGO.
NOT ONE MORE DOLLAR OF MINE SPENT AT ROYALS
STADIUM. JACKSON COUNTY WHICH PAID FOR THOSE
IMPROVEMENTS SHOULD LOCK THE GATES AT THE K
UNTIL GLASS FIRES THE WORTHLESS MANAGER AND
    COACHES.
    LOSING ATTITUDE MUST STOP.

GLASS COULD GO OUT TO STOHL PARK AND PICK OUT
24 PLAYERS IN THE SOFTBALL LEAGUE THAT COULD PLAY
    BETTER THAN THE CURRENT ROYALS.
PIOLI AND HALEY HAVE IT RIGHT. LOSING IS UNACCEPTABLE. THATS WHY ARIZONA PLAYERS HATED
HALEY. THEY WERE LOSERS TIL HE TOOK THEM OVER.
TUNRED THEM INTO SUPER BOWL TEAM. NOT BY ACCEPTING AND CODDLING THE PLAYERS WHEN THEY LOST BUT SCREAMING, GETTING IN THEIR FACE, TELLING THEM THEY WERE LOSERS, MAKING THEM
    RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR BAD PLAY.
This won’t happen with the Royals as long
as Hillman is manager. He has no clue.
    He must go!

Sometimes Greg can’t help but show his anti-810 bias. 810 is still No.1 in the city for sports talk but a country mile.

My advice to Greg and all of the other 810 haters is to deal with it.

Soren and the Border Patrol are typically great shows on 810. But Greg is absolutely right to point out the hyperbole and hypocricy by Kietzman. He’s the test case for getting fat and happy. You can tell he just simply doesn’t put much effort into his job anymore. He’s stale, boring, and hangs up callers who challenge is uninformed opinions because he simply can deal in facts because he doesn’t know the facts.

    Greg,
I love your work but it is becoming painfully obvious of your bias against 810,mostly KK, and I’ll admit he is frustrating at times. Your comment on the ratings is a bit misleading. I went to the link you provided and didn’t even see 610 on the list. WHB nearly doubled their rating and finished 9 spots above them. Considering that 610 completely revamped their lineup you would expect a ratings spike. I would guess they’re discouraged that it didn’t jump more.

That Dexton Fields quote is from December 28. Why is that relevant now?

    John,
I agree that 810 continues to garner excellent ratings around the clock. Contrary to what some believe, I enjoy 810’s shows and programming a great deal. I sure wouldn’t listen as much as I do if I did not. It would take a small miracle and a total implosion for 810 to lose out to 610 in any Arbitron ratings period. But I think it will be interesting to see if 610’s uptick continues.

    Ryan,
Why would the date matter? Sometimes I just don’t find room for a quote I have saved and lately I have been doing some house cleaning. Dexton’s quote to me is timeless.
