wow. brian waters is not the brightest guy on
the block. Now I understand what Haleys doing.
He’s right. Last years team was horrible and if
you want to play on this year’s team there’s not
going to be any laziness and excuses.
As far as him not being at the down syndrome
charity I take him at his word. Maybe he didn’t
receive the letter explaining the event. Maybe
he didn’t think to call someone or got to a
website. Maybe this guy is like the rest of last
years players…lazy losers.
I’ve got to believe that pioli and haley think these guys are not very good. They probably saw
and heard about this team last year and have no
respect for any of the players and would rather
get their own guys on the team. I like that.
For too often, the owners/managers of kc sports teams have relied on the old washed up people
around them.
The royals continue to use washed up brett
people. Seitzer/quirk/white…nice guys butout
of baseball for 30 years and they don’t have
a clue. Chiefs used the “peterson” connections
and look where it got them. Petersons friends
came in for a free ride and big paycheck and now look where the cheifs are. LOST!
Its going to take a long time to clean up the
mess in the royals and chiefs. For too long the
owners were lazy, money hungry con men trying to take the last few dollars from the residents.
Maybe pioli and haley should bring in dj jazzy
jeff for the season. He “loves” kc and couldn’t
be any worse than what we have now.

On the question of whether Waters wants to be here or not you might want to add ……….(silence)uhhhhhhhh. It was quite a long pause as if to say how can I say something without being called on the carpet later when I’m traded or cut and then I can lambast the Scott/Todd show.

Waters is a perfect example of “when you’re being run out of town, get in front and make it look like a parade.”

Your description of Waters’ extended pause before answering is more accurate than my written soundbite. I still hope he gets into camp and starts to recognize this might be an environment where the Chiefs could win rather than lose game after game.
