Temper, temper….though we are in Kansas and are allowed to have a smoking and non smoking section, I think all this was much to do about nothing….most people who go to bars and nightclubs either smoke or don’t care if you do…KC already had smoking and non smoking areas and when Stanfords was in Westport, I never heard any complaints about smoking late at night…only from folks who were in the comedy club…so we nixed smoking in our theatre at Legends, however you may smoke in the bar area…its all worked out just fine, not one complaint…it wasn’t a problem in KC,Mo…places that shouldn’t have smoking didn’t and those that wanted it, were ok…all these new laws did was hurt the bars,nightclubs,and entertainment areas…in a tough economy that wasn’t needed…hopefully it will go back to where it was…smoking in places that are ok with it…the city will make money as they do in KCK with charging for a smoking license on a yearly bases, again we have it here not one complaint, seems to work for everyone
