    Jack–work on the spelling, dude.

Who thinks Ebert is a quote whore? Sean Edwards?

Ebert has a 40-year body of evidence — written reviews, not to mention profiles, essays and now, a pretty lively blog — to refute that.

Jack where have you been? Roger and his sad present condition has been on all sorts of media. Stunned that you are just now becoming aware of his condition and how he looks. Thumbs down to your lack of current knowledge.

Hey Rick, it says in Jack’s story he was aware of Ebert’s condition. What shocked and saddened him was seeing Ebert up close and reflecting back on the man that he’d known for so many years

Hearne concur, but that still isn’t the point. Roger has been all over TV ie Entertainment Tonight etc. One would think if one of your jobs/hobby is to be aware of the movie business these are things you would take notice of. Even more so if you were a HUGE fan, admirer, or as stated you patterned your approach after the person. It would be like you writing and saying you just caught Dick Clark on the New Years eve special and he looks terrible. Same reply…where have you been? Dick made his first shocking appearance a few years ago. If Jack were to write that he just discovered At The Movies had two new hosts, I would love to hear his insight and opinion. But still feel he was late getting on the boat. To harsh?
