McTavish: Tony Does Britney, Frank, Duke & the Midland

Anyone fortunate enough to have experienced Tony Bennett in concert Saturday night at the Midland by AMC is probably still searching for superlatives to describe it.

But maybe only one word is really necessary: Impeccable.

Who am I kidding? I can

    Brian,

We had the honor of being there Saturday night, and you nailed it…nobody does it like Tony Bennett. What a treasure to have been able to see it, and see your impeccable recap of the evening.

    Good times!

Funny that he mentioned Britney….well known fact that TB has been lip syncing for years. Forget about memories it’s Memorex baby! Don’t really think that old pipes like TB’s don’t have any rust on ’em do ya?

It was a great evening and your words brought it to life again. I’ve been trying to convince my 16 year old music theater son to sing “The Best is Yet to Come”. I tell him only a great singer can pull that one off. I loved your cascading waterfall description.
