This just in: counting crowd’s can be hazardous to one’s reputation…

Nobody knows that better than the Country Club Plaza and Kansas City’s vaunted St. Patrick’s Day Parade, both of whom folded like limp tents when asked to substantiate ridiculously high crowd estimates.

The bottom line: if you don’t even bother to try and actually count the crowd, you’re merely guessing.
