The kc day organizers didn’t bother contacting star folks this year, Hearne. The person who used to be in charge retired before the layoffs.

They combined the sections, and the paper is still being printed late, which makes it late to the carriers, which in turn makes it late to the subscribers. They went from three press’s to two. Management needs to get there stuff together and start doing a better job.

Don’t forget that subscribers saw an increase starting in November of last year too. That means my bill has gone up 24% in five months. Thinking pretty hard about cancelling my subscription.

I am not renewing the paper. There is hardly any news in any section except the sports section. Why not charge the extra 25 cent for the sports section instead of the TV section? I started receiving the Wall Street Journal, and guess what… it is full of news from the front page to the very last page and I got it for $99.00 for a year. Goodby Kansas City Star, I really won’t miss you. Goodby Louis Duigiud, Mary Sanchez, and all the other inept liberal writers. There is no reporting of news, only their opinions.
